There are lots of rules for playing a game of
cards which might change according to the game type. The number of players
involved, the method of the gameplay, the scoring technique all will change
accordingly. Therefore, knowing the rules is paramount in playing cards. Similarly,
when you play one of the most common and most favored games like Slapjack, you
will also have to follow the games rules. Involving four to ten players of any
age and you will find this game played in most homes. It is just due to the
simple concept and the race to slap interaction that makes this game fun and
interesting.
The Primary
Objective
The primary objective of playing card games is to collect all the cards. Everyone sitting in
a circle on the floor or around a table will deal clockwise until all cards in
your hand runs out. No one looks at the cards during this process as all cards
are face down. The turn goes round in circles where each player will draw a
card face out so that the player is unable to see the card before playing it. It
is placed in the center and is followed by all players. If a Jack court card on
top and faced up the person who drew will have the honor to “slap” it.
Adding the
Pile
If there are several people to slap at once
then the person whose hand is in contact the most with the Jack will add all
the cards to the pile. Any incorrect slapping will result in the loss of the
topmost card in that person’s pile. When one runs out of cards he is out of the
game unless slapping a jack laid by others. This is probably one of the best game night ideas to spend quality time.
